We're both! Better Coffee is operated by the federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit Better People, Inc. We engage in this business as a way to raise funds for youth programs in underserved communities. Rather than keep profits, like a for-profit company would do, we donate all our profits to organizations trying to make the world a better place. Profit is defined as the amount that remains after all expenses and costs of doing business have been paid.

Our value comes from being able to provide the freshest coffee available on the internet. The coffee is shipped the same day it is roasted on whole bean coffee, and shipped the day after roasting on ground coffee, to allow sufficient time for degassing.

As a result, orders are typically delivered within 10 business days, door-to-door, from the date of purchase. 

It takes us 1-5 business days to process your order, and another 1-5 business days for your order to be delivered by our shipping partner. All orders are assigned a tracking number, so you're always informed of delivery expectations.

We have two policies for our store: one for coffee and the other for merchandise.

In short, we cannot accept returns of coffee for health and safety reasons. However, please contact us right away if there is a problem with your order and we'll do everything possible to make it right.
